Would you like to put your creative problem-solving mind to the test to help the Australian red meat industry become carbon neutral by 2030 and in doing so have the opportunity to win some amazing prizes?
Cicada Innovations and the Meat and Livestock Australia (MLA) are launching three carbon neutrality challenges.
At the launch event, we will discuss the details of the three challenges:
1) Delivery mechanisms for continued supply of bioactive or novel compounds into the diet of cattle, sheep, and goats in order to reduce or eliminate methane emissions without compromising the productivity of the animal, and
2) New efficient methods of measuring carbon in soil, and
3) Open Innovation Challenge – Find solutions to boost the Australian red meat industry productivity and reduce green house gas emissions.
Attendees will learn how they can take part in the hackathon-style competition (which will take place on the 2nd February 2019 at Cicada Innovations- Sydney) and have the chance to win a $10,000 cash prize and more!
We invite you to come and learn about how you can participate in this important mission to reduce the livestock industry’s carbon emissions for environmental sustainability and a greener future.
